Retaining Ring are commonly used for axial positioning of mechanical transmission shafts, bearing housings and gearboxes, and the taper structure realizes high-precision fastening. The material is mostly spring steel or stainless steel. When installing, the contact surface should be cleaned and pre-tensioned with uniform force, and the vibration condition should be matched with thread glue or cotter pin to prevent loosening, and the pre-tensioning force should be checked periodically to prevent displacement.
